Yngve Bergqvist Entrepreneurial Award 2011
Roland Fastberg and SweDenCare have won the Yngve Bergqvist Entrepreneurial Award 2012, awarded by Företagarna in Kiruna.
Yngve Bergqvist is the founder of the world famous ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi. Roland Fastberg was presented with the award at Kirunagalan, Kiruna’s annual gala celebrating local businesses and entrepreneurship, on January 20, 2012.
The jury’s motivation:
“This innovative entrepreneur has during the last 10 years operated a business based on good oral health. The patented product ProDen PlaqueOff is exported to every continent and has placed the company among the 25 fastest growing in Sweden during 2007. Through expertise and a network of contacts around the world, this year’s winner is a good role model for other entrepreneurs who want to reach the export market.”
Företagarna i Kiruna is a non-profit organization with over 300 members. Their goal is to promote start-ups and support small businesses in general. Företagarna i Kiruna operates Nyföretagarcentrum on behalf of Kiruna Municipality and with co-funding from the County Administrative Board, Kiruna Municipality and the European Regional Development Fund.
